Signs of Change
We live in a world in which writing is a matter of course. Hardly anyone thinks about script as a social and cultural ability. In the meantime however, writing is no longer the only way to communicate and store media. There are other sign systems which can take over the function of script. Due to digitalizing in particular these have expanded even more into our daily lives. This work is a personal exploration of the transformation and the future of our literary culture. From an experimental point of view this work investigates the following questions: What changes is the culture of writing currently exposed to? Is it just a matter of time until writing is displaced as a way to communicate and store media?
