Visualize the dynamics unseen
"Cars look more and more similar" - this is what most of the general public feels. In fact we are moving in times where electric car engines could have an huge impact on automotive design. This Bachelor Thesis, sponsored by- and developed in cooperation with BMWs' Advanced Design Studio in Munich, shows an interpretation of how dynamics could be expressed in the future and create a whole new aesthetic view on the streets. The main inspiration for this project were dynamic movements which take place too fast to be recognized by the human eye. In addition, working with the Moiré Effect enables to create visual movement on an idle model. These Moiré graphics emblematize dynamics and forces happening around the car such as airstream or centrifugal forces around the wheel areas.
