People can access information at any time. Every second Google, social media or other online sources provide their brains with information. Thus, reality fuses more and more with the virtual world. But it’s not like data is displayed on a simple sheet of paper anymore, it’s information overlaying reality. New forms of mixed realities are being created. Which potential does this new way of sharing information convey? In cooperation with BMW Motorrad and the existing project Eye Ride the user may test a head-mounted display, thus virtually, yet realistically experiencing the joy of motorcycling. Besides riding a sports bike on a track or a touring bike on winding roads, he will also preview future virtual displays which exceed the possibilities of today’s head-up displays.
