Every polaroid is unique. It has to be planned very carefully before shooting. With this method, the polaroid conserves the singular beauty of the moment. You cannot foretell, if the picture will be changed by the weather conditions, if mistakes will occur, if a rim will appear or even if the picture will already start fading after a few months. But this is the fascination of polaroid: transition instead of static preservation. During my travels through India and Nepal, I discovered places of a much more natural and basic nature than the world we live in. A life without time-pressure, without perfection, but with a lot of humanity and mistakes instead. Mistakes are something very aesthetic to me, they make things perfect. It was not clear at the beginning how the material would react. For my book i chose the title Possible., because the apparently impossible has become possible.
