People from Munich often enthuse about their home. But do they know which priceless valuables are provided by the surrounding natural environment? Precious Nature is a concept (corporate identity, book, poster series) which draws attention to the uniqueness of the "Umland", the natural areas outside the citys. The project shows the example of the eastern region of Munich. To showcase the Umland, the process began with photographs taken in this region. To coincide with this, uplifting stories, along with personal experiences have been collected, highlighting the relevance of the natural areas and their corresponding effect on circumstances in the region. The creative implementation is based on a mathematical system, which often appears in the growth process of nature.
