Brand Communication of the German Association of Bipolar Disorders (DGBS)
The DGBS is working for the exchange of experiences on eye level between affected persons, relatives, professional ones and supports research, information and self-help concerning bipolar disorders. In the past named manic-depression the illness is marked by deliberately not controllable derailments of impetus, activity and mood in the direction of the opposite poles of mania or depression. Years often pass up to the correct diagnosis. This thesis devotes to an optimized brand communication of the DGBS in order to be more well-known and to promote the knowledge about bipolar disorders. Therefore aims and profile of the DGBS have to be defined and new formative, conceptual as well as strategical approaches have to be developed, to support a public sensitization concerning the needs of bipolar disordered persons and their relatives.
