Conveying Intangible Design

An essential part of the presentation of smart electronic devices in design museums has been neglected almost entirely – the intangible design of these objects, i.e. the digital graphical user interface. Those interfaces define the products they belong to much more than their tangible and tactile outer shells. Consequently, the need for knew solutions to this imbalance arises. This bachelor thesis provides food for thought to curators and exhibition makers by using videos and projections to carve out precise showcases of how to exhibit graphical user interfaces in a design museum.
