Dreams seem so random. But why do we dream? According to Freud, dreams represent unfulfilled wishes or desires. Dreams are images, for us to interprete through symbolization. But we are not supposed to remember our dreams. Like a train of thought the images change fluidly. We already forget most of the dream even while we are dreaming them. The stories they are telling don't follow a logic pattern or at least none we understand. Most of the time we aren't even aware that we are dreaming. We blindlessly follow the storyline and act instinctively. It's like the unconciousness took over and we are the passive observer or rather semi-active passenger.
