After Idomeni At the end of 2015 a huge refugee camp was formed in Idomeni, a small Greek Village. The reason was that the Greek-Macedonain borders was closed. Around 14000 refugees were stuck and the only thing they could do, was to wait and hope the border will open again. The police and the military evacuated the camp six months later and moved the people into official refugee camps. These were usually located abandoned caserns or fabric buildings. In May 2016 I travelled to Idomeni to help and to document the people and their sitautions. In November 2016 I came back to Greece to document the situation in the official camps, which wasn‘t better at all.
